Jodi Shelton

Co-founder and CEO, Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA)

Jodi Shelton is the co-founder and CEO of the Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA). A pioneer within the technology space, Shelton was instrumental in the creation of the Alliance and has continuously addressed global issues in the industry as the voice of its members. Under her leadership, GSA has grown its membership to include companies throughout the supply chain representing 300+ corporate members on six continents and established the GSA Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI). In her role as CEO, Shelton ensures that the Alliance remains focused on achieving its defined mission and goal to foster a more effective ecosystem through collaboration, integration and innovation. She is the key liaison between GSA and the business community at high-level financial and industry conferences, providing insight on key topics pertaining to the global semiconductor supply chain. Shelton also serves on several boards and holds advisory positions.

Mario Morales is the group vice president of IDC’s enabling technologies, semiconductor, and storage research.

He is responsible for in-depth analysis, evaluation of emerging markets and trends, forecasting, and research of major semiconductor industry segments such as embedded and intelligent systems, wireless, personal computing, networking and cloud infrastructure, automotive electronics, and AI semiconductors.

Mr. Morales is a trusted advisor to leading high tech company executives, financial investors, and bankers on market landscape and direction, product and technology positioning, competitive benchmarking, M&A, hardware, and software technology, and brand health and sustainability.

Rick Marshall

Vice President Worldwide Sales Exensio Analytics Group, PDF Solutions

Rick Marshall has driven Sales and Business Development in the Semiconductor Back-End sine the early 1990’s. Over the past three decades, Rick has worked in a variety of industry segments, including: ATE, Test Handling Equipment, Test Interface Hardware, and Semiconductor Analytics Software. He is currently responsible for PDF Solutions’ global Big Data Analytics business, based on the industry-leading “Exensio” software and data platform. Having served key Fabless and IDM Customers from positions based in Silicon Valley, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Austin, Rick has extensive experience with the global aspects of Semiconductor design, manufacturing, and test. Currently based in Silicon Valley, Rick is focused on expanding PDF Solutions’ industry-leading solutions for Fabless, IDM, Foundry, and OSAT customers around the world. He’s also a major Humanities Geek, having graduated B.A. from Stanford University in 1990 with a focus on 18th Century British Satire – because that’s the background you need for a career in Semiconductors…

Founding Partner, Oak Seed Ventures

Chee-We Ng is a Founding Partner of Oak Seed Ventures and advisor of GS Microeletronics. Previously he was an Executive Director of Cisco Investments, a venture partner at Redpoint, and a consultant at McKinsey. Chee-We is focused on seed investments in AI, Cybersecurity and Next-Gen Computing. Chee-We holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT. At MIT, he performed research in AI and VLSI design. He was also a graduate teaching assistant in low-power CMOS digital VLSI.
Dr. Jalal Bagherli

Investor, Chairman

Dr. Jalal Bagherli is a well-known visionary leader of the semiconductor industry who has created multiple billion-dollar businesses. Currently Dr. Jalal chairs the board of PTSL, a private high growth semiconductor manufacturing company with its headquarters in Scotland.

Previously Dr. Jalal spent 16 years as CEO of Dialog Semiconductor, some of his professional highlights include the creation of new design centers in seven countries; successful negotiation of a strategic licensing deal to transfer IP and resources to Apple Inc. equity raising in European capital markets along with acquisition and integration of several chip companies in the US, Netherlands, Korea and Germany totaling over $1bn. Dr. Jalal also led the company to become the world leader in Power Management products, used for all Apple devices and the expansion into new product lines for Connectivity (low power Bluetooth/Wi-Fi), as well as Power Conversion and programmable Mixed Signal products for Mobile consumer and IOT markets. He led the strategic M&A deal resulting in the sale of Dialog semiconductor to Renesas Corporation of Japan in August 2021 for $5.8bn.

As part of his extensive achievements, with Dialog Semiconductor, Jalal has won several industry awards: GSA awards for “Most Respected Semiconductor Company” ($1bn- $5bn) and twice for “Best Financially Managed Semiconductor Company”.

Jeff Perkins

Executive Vice President and General Manager, Yole Inc.

Jeff Perkins is the Executive Vice President and General Manager of Yole Inc. Jeff has led international business expansion activities across a range of industries including: semiconductor, energy and electrification, aerospace, medical devices, and automotive. Jeff holds an MBA from INSEAD at Fontainebleau, France, and a BSc in Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder.


Vice President, Head of Global Markets Strategy, Intel Corporation

Brent A. Young is Vice President of Intel Corporation and Head of Global Markets Strategy, based in Washington D.C., where he is responsible for Intel’s strategies to intercept global growth opportunities in regions outside the U.S., rebalance supply chains, and de-risk the company amidst rising global geopolitical dynamics and potential Black Swan events.

From 2013 to 2022, Brent held senior sales and strategy positions for Intel in China. Most recently, he was Vice President and Head of the China Corporate Strategy Office in Beijing where he led Intel’s corporate strategy to compete against indigenous semiconductor trends, navigate rising geopolitical tensions, and build partnerships to accelerate Intel’s growth in market. Prior, he set up and led Intel’s tablet sales and marketing team which scaled Intel into the low-cost, high-volume Chinese Tablet ecosystem which helped bring Intel to the #1 MSS position in Tablets at the time.

He joined Intel in 2006 as an open source software strategist and was selected for Intel’s coveted technical assistant and chief of staff program supporting Tom Kilroy, the EVP of worldwide sales and marketing and his staff.

Prior to joining Intel, he spent 5 years developing core product features in various software engineering and technology sales positions at two startups, Curl Corporation and ShoppingList.com.

He is a member of Montage Technology Group Limited’s board of directors and was a two-time Vice Chair at the American Chamber of Commerce in China. Brent earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer science from Cornell University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.


Chief Operating Officer, Silicon Catalyst, LLC

Nick is currently Chief Operating Officer of Silicon Catalyst, LLC, the world’s only incubator focused exclusively on accelerating solutions in silicon.

Previously, Nick was Vice President of Products for SuVolta, a semiconductor technology IP company. From 2009 to 2011, Nick was Vice President of Corporate Program Management and before that Vice President of Design Enablement at GLOBALFOUNDRIES. Prior to GLOBALFOUNDRIES, Nick spent 23 years at AMD in a variety of management and technical roles concluding with Vice President, Advanced CMOS Process Technology Development.

Nick holds M.S. and B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley.


Senior VP, Chief Commercial Officer, FormFactor

Amy Leong has served as Senior VP, Chief Commercial Officer since January 2023, responsible for global customer sales and services, corporate marketing and M&A. From 2012 to 2022, she has held various management positions with FormFactor including Chief Marketing Officer and General Manager. Prior to FormFactor, Amy was VP of Marketing at MicroProbe from 2010 through the October 2012 closing of FormFactor’s acquisition of MicroProbe. Before joining MicroProbe, Amy worked at Gartner, Inc. as a Research Director from 2008 to 2010 and covered the foundry & logic market and various emerging applications. From 2003 to 2008, Amy worked at FormFactor where she served as Senior Director of Corporate Strategic Marketing and Director of DRAM Product Marketing. Prior to FormFactor, she worked in a variety of semiconductor process engineering, metrology, and product marketing roles at KLA and IBM. Amy currently serves as an independent board of director at Skywater Technology (NASDAQ: SKYT), the only US-investor owned pure-play semiconductor and technology foundry. Amy holds an M.S. in Material Science and Engineering from Stanford University and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
Swami Prasad

SVP and GM of International Sales, JCET Group

Swami Prasad is the SVP and GM of International sales at JCET Group. Over his 25 year career span at JCET, Swami has served in roles covering package engineering development, product line engineering, business operations and sales management. He is based in the Milpitas office.  Swami holds a Masters Degree in Industrial & Systems Engg from SUNY Binghamton and has attended an Executive program in Business Management at the Tuck school of business at Dartmouth University.  


Senior Director of Market Intelligence and Emerging Business Management, TSMC

Lucas Tsai is Senior Director of Market Intelligence and Emerging Business Management at TSMC North America. He is responsible for new sales funnels, including VC backed startups, emerging system accounts, and Value-Chain-Aggregators (VCA) in North America region. He is instrumental in the revival of TSMC corporate venture. Over his 20 years with TSMC, he specialized in bridging foundry and OEM by developing multiple-billion-dollar foundry businesses with a major mobile OEM and later with another major cloud service provider. Lucas holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University, M.S. and B.S., Electronic Engineering from National Chiao-Tung University in Taiwan. Lucas was granted more than 20 US patents and has published more than 40 papers in technical journals and conferences.

Aabid Husain

Vice President of Business Development, Atomera

Aabid is a graduate of Stanford Business School and a veteran of semiconductor manufacturing industry. Currently he is Vice President of Business Development at Atomera, an innovative silicon material and IP company for next generation of semiconductor technologies.

He has played leadership and pivotal role at global companies like Intel(Altera), Broadcom(LSILogic), Infineon(Cyress/Quicklogic), DBHiTek, Epson and GlobalFoundries.  Known in industry as ‘the foundry guru’, he is passionate about building semiconductor manufacturing ecosystems and sustainable business models.

Aabid holds the Executive Management LEAD certificate from Stanford University, and master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Applied Physics, plus undergraduate degree in Physics.

Jinman Han

EVP of Samsung Electronics and President of Samsung Device Solutions Americas (DSA)

Jinman Han serves as Corporate EVP of Samsung Electronics and President of Samsung Device Solutions Americas (DSA), where he is responsible for Samsung’s U.S. semiconductor business that includes Memory, Foundry, System LSI, LED, Display, and Advanced Package.

Mr. Han has held several leadership positions at Samsung including his most recent role as head of the Memory Global Sales & Marketing team where he oversaw the entire global sales and marketing activities of the company’s memory business since 2020.

Prior to that, he also led the Memory Marketing team, responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies since 2019. Also with his deep knowledge and well-rounded experience of the industry, he was designated to represent the memory division as a spokesman for the company’s investor relations as well.

Mr. Han joined Samsung in 1989 and has held several key positions within the company in departments such as DRAM design, Flash design, Flash solution products engineering, and SSD development.

Such technically diverse background has aided him in becoming the head of Product Planning & Application Engineering team for the memory division in 2017, where he was responsible for enabling all the company’s memory products such as HBM, UFS, DRAM, NAND and SSDs.

His experience and insight of the Industry has greatly contributed in the company’s presence within the memory market, maintaining its market leadership for decades.

He holds a bachelor’s degree of Electrical Engineering from Seoul National University in Korea.

Rabbi Islam

CEO, iTest Inc.

Rabbi Islam is co-founder and serves as the CEO of iTest, Inc., bringing over 30 years of hands-on experience in the semiconductor industry to support companies both locally and internationally. An expert in various services, including test and wafer probing program development, as well as device and package qualifications, Rabbi played a pivotal role in making iTest profitable in less than a year.

In previous roles, Rabbi was instrumental in setting up test houses in Singapore and Austin. The setup in Singapore has since evolved into one of the largest test houses globally. As the General Manager at ISE Labs (Hong Kong) Ltd, he gained extensive experience in running offshore test operations for high-volume manufacturing. Later, as the VP of Engineering & Business Development at ISE Labs in Fremont, Rabbi contributed valuable insights into test solutions for customers at a lower cost of test. He developed strong relationships with semiconductor companies in Silicon Valley and around the world, successfully steering these companies to profitability and solidifying his reputation as a results-driven leader.

Most recently, Rabbi’s venture in Shanghai, supporting companies in the China Semiconductor industry, has grown into a prominent testing services facility in China. Rabbi commenced his career after earning a Master of Engineering from Beijing University of Posts & Telecommunications, leveraging his extensive industry experience to drive innovation in the semiconductor sector.

Jason Schouw

Vice President & Region Head, GlobalFoundries

Jason is a Senior Sales Executive and Leader with over 30 years of diverse domestic and international experience establishing and growing profitable businesses in public and private sectors. 

Jason has extensive experience and proven execution in semiconductors, systems and software focused on a variety of domains including telecom, broadband, automotive, enterprise/consumer wired and wireless networking, iIoT, cloud infrastructure, network security, storage, AI and HPC with privately held, VC funded, US Intelligence Agency funded, and multinational publicly held organizations.

Jason currently leads GlobalFoundries US Sales where he drives and manages a significant portion of GF’s business.
